ACCOMMODATIONS:

  • Buenos Aires - Hotel Patios de San Telmo is a boutique hotel located in the charming neighborhood of San Telmo and within walking distance to many restaurants and city attractions.  It is housed in a historical tenement and features comfortable rooms, central and rooftop patios, as well as a small restaurant with fresh, locally-inspired dishes.

  • Las Cuevas - Posada del Glaciar is a family-run high-mountain lodge that is located in the last town before the Chile/Argentina border.  It functions in tandem with La Caballeriza restaurant (site of our group dinner), and between them they offer the simple charm of mountain living with comfortable beds, plenty of warmth and hearty food options.  The lodge has been privately reserved for our group.

  • Barreal - Hostel Barreal - Hostel Barreal is our base for the days surrounding the eclipse and has been reserved solely for our group.  It's quaint, peaceful setting is complimented by ample indoor common spaces, as well as a beautiful backyard with views of the night sky and virtually zero light pollution.  Enjoy reading by the fire or perusing the humble decor and artifacts on display by owner and renowned mountaineer Pablo Shlogl.

  • Valle de Uco, Mendoza - Postales Hotel Boutique - Postales is set in the countryside of the Uco Valley and is encompassed by vineyards, organic vegetable gardens and a spectacular view of the Andes Mountains.  It is chic yet familial and it's modern-rustic rooms offer a true taste of rural Mendoza.  Postales also features a restaurant (site of our farewell dinner) with locally-driven cuisine and their own, small-batch wines.
